Mick was born and raised in the Midwest, moved to Boston for college, hit Austin, TX for a year after undergrad, then back to Boston for a couple more years. He made a move to Hoboken and the New York acting universe, and after a few more years, went for an MFA at the University of Illinois.

After spending time involved in acting projects of every shape and size - independent theater & film, network TV, regional theater, political theater, voice work, print modeling, teaching, leading workshops, producing a theater company in New England - certain Life Events Happened and he stepped back a bit from full-time acting - keeping a toe in the pool at all times, but more limited in the wheres and whens of things.

NOW - he is back in it full-time, with a season of a streaming series that launched in 2019, a film at the Tribeca Festival in ‘21, back in plays as soon as the pandemic permitted - starting with the title role in a streaming version of Uncle Vanya, and several shows live and on camera since - writing theater projects, and ready for whatever comes next…
